BOARD MEETINGS
* The next scheduled Board meeting is Thursday, May 29, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at the Ohio Water Development Authority, 480 South High Street, Columbus, OH  43215.

LOAN APPLICATIONS
* Reminder:  Loan applications are due into the Ohio Water Development Authority office by no later than the 15th of each month (except for the December meeting).  The deadline for the December 2008 meeting is Tuesday, November 25th.

REVISED DISBURSEMENT PROCEDURES
* For all loans approved after June 1, 2007, local government agencies (LGA) will be required to submit a LGA Payment Instruction Form prior to the first disbursement.  This form will be sent to the LGA with the signed loan agreement.

Contractors receiving funds directly from OWDA must submit a completed Contractor Payment Instruction Form prior to the first disbursement.

FRESH WATER PROGRAM LOAN DISCOUNT REVISION
* Please refer to the Fresh Water Program Guidelines for new loan discount cap amounts.

REVISED CONTRACTOR'S ESTIMATE FORM
* All loans approved after July 1, 2005 will be required to use the revised Contractor's Estimate Form

REVISED PLANNING AND CONSTRUCTION AGREEMENTS
* All loans approved after January 1, 2006 will be required to use the revised agreements.  Please note that the planning loans now require semiannual repayments.


OHIO RURAL COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (RCAP) SEMINARS
*
The Ohio Rural Community Assistance Program provides free and low-cost services to help rural communities address their drinking water and wastewater treatment needs. RCAP's offers "Asset Management, Budgeting and Rate Setting",  "Utility Management" and "Financial Management" seminars for local officials including council members, mayors, BPA members, administrators, clerks and district board members.  Operators are also welcome, and can receive 5 continuing education units for attending.  For complete details on their upcoming seminar schedule, click here.
